Kirby gains the power to spread love, which allows him to recruit unlikely allies to aid him in his mission to bring peace back to Dream Land.
Characteristics:
- In classic Kirby style, inhale opponents and objects, then shoot them back to smash blocks or villains!
- You can also copy the powers of certain enemies, which allows you to steal their unique attacks and abilities.
- Throw a friend heart at nearby enemies to recruit up to three allies at a time!
- Combine different copy abilities to unleash powerful attacks, solve puzzles or add more firepower to your weapons.
- Try to mix Copy Abilities with different elements such as fire, water and wind by borrowing them or giving them to your helpers.
- Combine the Stone and Ice abilities to turn a character into a slippery curling stone and break through walls, mix the Fire and Sword abilities to create a super-heated Sizzle Sword, and more!
- Sometimes you'll need all four members of your team to pull together to perform an impressive special move.
- Form a Friend Circle to get through any obstacle in your way, steam towards the end of a stage as a Friend Train, or create a Friend Bridge to cross large gaps!
- Take down villains in all kinds of ways using new and fan-favorite copy abilities!
- Wrap an enemy in a bundle of webs with the new Spider ability or slam them firmly into the ground with the Suplex ability.
- There are tons of copy abilities to discover, each with their own unique move sets.
- Up to four players can join the fun anytime, anywhere!
- Simply recruit an in-game ally using a friend heart, then grab a Joy-Con or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to jump right into the action!
- Open new paths by combining copy abilities and work together to defeat the challenging bosses that stand in your way.
- Go head-to-head with your friends or the computer in two frantic mini-games!
- Chop down a tree as fast as possible in Chop Champs, or bat away an oncoming meteorite in Star Slam Heroes.
- Whoever cuts the most wood or hits the meteorite the farthest will be crowned the winner!
- Thanks to free* post-launch updates, even fan-favorite legacy characters can become Kirby's friends!
